Near Shore Gulf of Mexico – Trolling Fishing Charters –

Trolling fishing charters focus on pelagic species in the waters within the view of the sugar white shores of Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Fort Morgan that are abundant with spanish mackerel, king mackerel, bonita and redfish (red drum). When trolling the vessel is moving, pulling a few baited lines behind the boat for the fish below to bite. Near Shore Gulf of Mexico fishing offers a great introduction to deep sea fishing along the Alabama Coast and are available year round. Click here to view the Near Shore Trolling Fish we catch.

Spring Cobia Fishing

Each Spring our docks bustle with excitement as the captains & crews begin sight fishing for the annual migration of cobia
(also known as lemon fish and ling) from the eastern Gulf towards waters farther west and to deeper water. Captains sight fish from the towers above to spot the migrating cobia to tempt with bait. Cobia often weigh in at 30-60 lbs. and offer a thrilling saltwater angling experience,
as well as tasty dinner.

Shark Fishing Charters

The world class fishing grounds off our shores are also home to a healthy year round native shark species. These fish can grow in excess of 10 feet in length weighing hundreds of pounds. Once hooked, the battle to reel one of these predators of the gulf can take and hour, or longer, to reel in.  We promote mostly catch and release of these true monsters of the deep.  If you do decided to harvest a shark to mount, or to eat, the cost of fish cleaning is 30 cents per pound, whole weight. Shark fishing can be the primary focus of your trip or can be neat way to add  some variety to your deep sea fishing trips.
